The all-round viewing platform gives really good views over London including
However, for me the Shard always seems a little threatening. This is probably because it is an almost identical twin of the tower I saw on the cover of a Stephen King book I read many years ago "The Dark Tower". It’s interesting that a book cover (+ the book series itself) can have such an effect when I view a real building many years later.
