Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to one and all!

The N'erday Walk has become a bit of a tradition.  Well this is the second year in a row it's happened so we've declared it a tradition.

I stayed home to give Alan lunch and start preparing our lunch (which was a full cooked breakfast but at lunchtime ;-) and Agnes stayed too due to still having problems with her calf muscle that she tore whilst dancing at her Christmas night out (the muscle tore as she was giving it laldy* to Shania Twain's Man I feel Like a Woman and after registering the agony she was in, she continued dancing standing on one leg.  She's a trouper that one!)

The walk was cut short due to rising wind and dropping temperatures.  I know the cold temperature was weather related, I'm not so sure about the wind.

Once returned, the guys set about moving our old kitchen table into the new garden room along with our even older kitchen table so we had enough space to seat the 10 who would be here for dinner.   After food Agnes and Adrian headed home and Ele helped me with the prep for tonight's meal.

The rest of the family gang duly arrived and a great night was had.  Much laughter about the fact the room is only half decorated, only half the floor is tiled and electrical wires are hanging out of the ceiling.  Oh and there is polythene sheeting on the floor.    Classy :D

Everyone left apart from Ele and Kenny who were staying till the 2nd and we got comfy and settled down to watch Kevin Bridges live at Glasgow Hydro.   What can I say about his show?  Wee Hoose rice.  That's all I'm saying  :-))))))

*Laldy for the non- Scots among you ;-)
