Family outing

After another late night last night, I had a bit of a sleep in. I was woken to a phone call from JL inviting Cousteau and me for a walk in the forest. We met them at midday and had a fun couple of hours romping through the forest.

While we were walking, we realised that we had three generations of Vizsla with us. They all got along brilliantly.

This is JY trying to distract the pups from chasing after another dog they saw. From the left is Lenci (Cousteau's sister and soon-to-be mum again), Kato (Cousteau's potential love-interest prior to him becoming an it), Cousteau (he's not fat, he's closer to the camera and he's bigger than the girls, so there!). To the right of JY and closer to the camera is Zsa Zsa (Cousteau's mum), Csnini (Zsa Zsa's sister and Cousteau's auntie). Off in the distance is the wee Soonark (Cousteau's nephew, Lenci's pup from her first litter). Right got all that? Good.

Erm, please note how well my dog is sitting, slightly back from the girls and being very patient. Now, that's traning! LOL.

So, in the absence of a family outing with my own family (not long til Ma and Dad come over), an outing with Cousteau's family was on the cards.

Good to catch up with them all again and, as you can see, lovely weather for it.

Oh, and once the food had run out, the dogs ran after the dog in the distance anyway - typical.

Cousteau and I have just had a snooze in the sun and now he's chomping on a lamb bone that our neighbours just dropped off for him for his Christmas present. He's in seventh heaven.

And that was Boxing Day.
