Cromwell Harbour

TT was up early and off to work.  I spent the morning doing housework – window cleaning, floor washing, laundry, hoovering, all very dull but had to be done.

After lunch the day seemed to have brightened, so BB and I headed to Dunbar and walked along the cliffs and round by the harbour.  It was mild, very still and clear.  We watched eider ducks diving in the outer harbour and sometimes coming up with a fish which the greedy seagulls then  tried to wrestle from them.  BB spent some time at the trim trail – and even though he still has the most awful cough, he went round it a few times.  He also played at one of the playparks, but wasn’t best pleased because he couldn’t go fast on the things he likes to go fast on as there were younger children there cramping his style.

We stopped at the community bakery and bought a few treats, and also the co-op where we picked up a couple of bargain Christmas puddings for TT.

BB came home and practised his recorder and cello – surely the last time we will have Christmas tunes until next Christmas.

Here is a view of Dunbar from the inner harbour, the Cromwell Harbour.
