Statement of Hope

A couple of days ago, I was marveling at the buds of the deciduous Azalea occidentalis in the garden. So ready for spring during our uncharacteristic cold snap. I thought then that a bud would be a beautiful night shot with no color or distraction behind it, just isolated by the camera’s flash. So, tonight, here it is a wonderful hopeful sign of spring coming.
