A Day Worth Recording

Shed

The door of one of the two airship hangars at Cardington. What I hadn't realised was that these also function as film studios these days, providing a room big enough to build Gotham City for Batman, for example.

We pass these on our current favoured route between Cambridge and Oxford via the A421. Today should have been the reverse trip to that of last Saturday, but circumstances have changed somewhat since then. However, S was still needing to return from Banbury so I drove over to collect him as it was rather too late to organise any alternative. I put in a short detour to pass nearer to these massive structures. It's very difficult to get scale, so I chose one with the cars and vans in front.

One shed is looking a bit worse for wear - the other end is being re-roofed. The other shed is in much better condition.

S had a great time at Senior Conference but a tad sleepy now (i.e. sound asleep, mid afternoon).

A's condition is dramatically improved, but still a long way to go. More detailed tests on Tuesday.

One consequence of the rearranged weekend is that we now have more people present than we have bedrooms for. Ah well, there's always the shed...
