A Day Worth Recording

Edrig

Rather a train of activities today.

First the sorting out of who was coming to Meeting today (currently non-trivial), Meeting itself, where we had a large number of visitors from another area - some of whom came and had lunch in our [home] garden and we got the garden railway running, this led to more gardening. Back into Meeting mode in the evening for a committee-reorganisation-committee meeting, and eventually settling down to George Gently.

We've new neighbours this week; adjacent and opposite. We introduced ourselves to those opposite and discovered that both sets of new neighbours are called John & Helen.

Their house is needing the sort of gutting and rework ours did when we brought it many years ago, bringing back memories that perhaps should have been left under the floorboards of the mind.

Edrig is the model name of the above (live steam) model loco. One day I'll get around to it's 'official' FWR "Derby Sage" nameplates
