Village friends

Living in a village is a great delight. Walks round the village, for example to the Post Office, always take twice as long as expected. The reason of course is that half the time is spent chatting on the way to people one knows.

This morning I met this friend and had a good chat. I admit the conversation was a bit one sided, but he seemed interested. And when I told him what a fine fellow he was I am sure he nodded his head.

Going back later for another look at the starlings. And if they are there I shall, for the first time, try the video facility built into my Christmas camera. I think it will be an ideal subject.
