Wow, This Bird Really Gets Around!

Friday, blipfoto's own Mr. B blipped this heron relaxing in a local Scottish waterfront area.
So who shows up in my nearby salt marsh today?!?
Why it's the same Trans Atlantic traveler unwinding after his long trip with not so much as a feather looking out of place.
How does he do it?
Well the answer to that remains unknown but what I do know is the bird arrived empty winged.
He was supposed to be outfitted with a pair of saddlebags containing a bottle of single malt on one side, and some fresh baked goods on the other.
So what happened? My guess is the heron got jumped by an unscrupulous bald eagle that obsconded with the treasure.
Normally I'd consider blaming a sneaky alligator but it's not their season for treat stealing which gets them off the hook. (for now)
In any case we have to applaud the intrepid heron's stamina in completing this amazing journey!
