Winter sunshine

Awake early as son number one had an early start at work and needed a lift. Husband did the honours and I stayed in bed trying to catch up with my book group book before our meeting next week. 

Just had chance for a quick walk around the lake at lunchtime. I had a few errands to run and had to be back for a meeting. The meeting lasted almost 3 hours and was held in a room where the air conditioning had broken down. Even with the door open and a fan going, it was like being in a dry sauna - and this is in the same building that was at polar temperatures last week. 

Dashed home ready to go to a spin class. Wasn't looking forward to it on the way home but it was very good and I felt quite lively afterwards. 

Nice to have a shower, get in to pyjamas and then have some tea.
