A bit of cleaning, even a bit of gardening today - the weather mild enough to be outside and much clearing needed. A small wall had vanished under thick grasses and brambles and I ripped away the swathes attended by a robin - I don't think it was Chirp, too far out of his territory.

I have to confess to cheating with this image - the photo taken sometime ago but worked on today as I gathered together images for a 2016 year book. Yes, an abandoned house, just at the side of the main road but such a pretty one, inside and out. The colours were especially striking as was this remnant of fabric - 60s?70s? Even more intriguing the delft tiles just visible on the sill.
