The defrost has begun and it is ugly.  Time has almost stood still for over a week.  My new calendar is nothing but a mess of rescheduled appointments.  The moment is not fun right now, I wish I had a fast forward button.  :-)

A package arrived on the porch from my mother, a gift of something I am very fond of: Turkish Delight.  So a sweet ending to the day.

On Apple TV we subscribe to Acorn which has lots of shows from the UK, Australia and New Zealand.  We have just discovered Time Team, we love it.  It is incredibly soothing to watch, archeologists digging in fields, discovering past things.  And nice to know that Baldrick had a long career after Blackadder ended.
