Wide Angle

Thanks Hobbs for the theme of perspective for wide angle Wednesday.....I had intended going down to the railway line, lying on the tracks to get the low perspective, however the wet weather put paid to that idea.
Its rained since mid morning so an indoor day. A day for Ozzie Tennis and Irish editing.
Come dinner time and what to do, I used this hydrangea head for yesterdays blip, figured I'd give it another showing tonight.
Picture this, the vase teetering on the edge of the bench, me sitting on the floor below and the camera lens (at its widest) all but touching the bottom of the vase.  Hence, the wide distorted base and the hydrangea head has become very small.

For those that remember, we were meant to be travelling to Ireland with another couple who had to pull out the week before because of health issues.  Well, at the moment they are cruising down to the Antarctica, via South America called in to the Falkland Islands yesterday. I'm following their journey from a blog put up mostly daily from different people, maybe crew but not sure.  It is most interesting.
