Gas Hall Art

In the 1870s the Birmingham Gas Corporation was founded and had its offices in the buildings which now house the Council House and the Art Gallery.  The offices were moved into an extension later on and this room, which is now an exhibition space, would have been the room where the people of Birmingham would have gone to pay their Gas Bills.

I was there for a Dementia Action Alliance meeting this morning, and took the opportunity for a quick Blip of some of the rather interesting exhibits.  I might go back for a proper look one day...
