Max's Wine

Possibly Australia's best known quality red wine is Penfolds Grange Hermitage  (psst think $700 per bottle) which was conceived by a wine maker called Max Schubert, back in 1951. This fine wine may not be in the Grange class but it's the same grape variety and is reputed to be in the same style. In any event it is named in honour of Max and should be pretty good. I am looking forward to trying it one of these days. Thought I'd do another one of my mono still life images but I am also including what I call some "filtered slivers" from the main image ... just for fun.
