Hood to Coast Relay Memories

The annual Hood to Coast relay race was this weekend. That brought back some memories. Our son ran the Hood to Coast in High School...1988-89-90. He got this very nifty papery jacket one year and three medals, one of which is missing or he never got it in the first place, we are not sure which. In any case, he drug out his treasures and modeled them for us. He wasn't keen on his face being in the blip, so you just get this. He says, "been there, done that, never will do it again.", regarding Hood to Coast. Bill and I volunteered and the first year was fun, the second year not so much. We were out in the countryside and we ended up being there until dawn as nobody relieved us at our post. Been there, done that, never do it again goes for us too!

A cooler morning that turned a bit humid and warm this afternoon.

Hanging in their with the wrist brace, THE (pronounce that thee!) most annoying damn thing I've had to put up with in a long time. As my favorite Blip dogs, Molly the Gorgeous Collie, Tussock, and Maud would say...grrrrrrrrrr.

See ya later Blippers. Hope you had a good weekend.
