Party Candle

This is from THE party of the year. It's the annual Chiltern Chamber Choir Christmas party - always after Christmas because we're too exhausted with concerts beforehand! It's a complicated arrangement of people making dishes but we end up with an enormous feast and have a great time....until our musical maestro tests us on extracts from what we sang in the past season.
The altos are thinking....Really? How are we supposed to know what the tune sounds like? The sopranos know the tune but haven't got the right music or their glasses, the tenors think they know it but are out of tune and the basses are a bit behind (as usual).
Seriously, a group of us comprising all four parts got pretty much all the answers!!

News that is very exciting... we are likely to be performing Messiah in the south of France next October... keep your fingers crossed!
