For Posterity

This memory stick contains all my Blipfoto entries for 2016 and is on its way to the printers for the printing of a year book.
It has taken His Lordship months to convert all the pictures and texts to the format of the original books that we so blithely and easily ordered from the Blipfoto shop.

Neither HL nor I are remotely qualified to be able to write a programme that would  do it all automatically rather than battling each entry using In Design. Surely there must be some clever IT person out there who could reinstate the software necessary to enable blippers to produce a year book at the click of a mouse.
To me, having everything printed on paper for posterity is comparable to having a actual book to hold rather than using a Kindle.

Suffice it to say, unless this happens, there will be no more year books to grace the shelves of the Dower House Library. His Lordship has thrown in the towel.
