Female House Finch

These female house finch spent a good bit of time at the feeder today.  

It started off with rain and gusty all day.  Temperatures are getting colder and getting more winter like.

My amaryllis bulbs are just shooting up.

As the rain fell softly outside, Spirit snoozed on his chair on the porch.

It is a done deal.  The washer is dead.  The bearing for the drum needs replaced and that would cost twice what the machine costs new!  Where is the logic in that?!  So a new washer and dryer have been purchased and will be delivered and installed on Tuesday.
