Life through the lens...

Leeds old and new

We had to go into Leeds this morning, and on the way back to the bus station had a look at some of the buildings, old and new, in the city centre.
A joy to look up instead of in the shop windows.

The city is full of Starbucks, Costa Coffee and Caffe Neros, but we preferred the coffee at the little Italian Restaurant,  Pasta Romagna.
Now no longer in the hands of Gilda, ( Marco Pierre White's godmama)
who, after 32 years, retired a couple of years ago at the age of 81.
However still good coffee and good food at reasonable prices too.
