Life in Sunny Dubai

Peering

Got woken up at 2am by a commotion downstairs. Some drunken brawl going on; the same as last Thursday night. We then had the banging of a door that leads to an air passage which was left open and reacted to strong winds. Argh.

Made it to church in the morning, then a quick lunch, and then we headed out for the first visa run of the year! It has finally got cold here. 15deg in Dubai, and the car recorded 9deg in the mountains! It even rained a bit. The wind though was really strong, and you really felt it. The extra gives an idea of what the road and visibility was like.

Pleased to say we managed this run in exactly four hours! First time in ages; which left time to have a relaxed evening and get ready for a much needed productive day tomorrow!

PS. G managed to get the camera out and get the shot of the camel looking at everything going on around him.
PPS. Forgot to mention... the weather was labelled "extreme" so several large events had to be cancelled such as Day 2 of the Dubai Desert Classic, Dubai Tour (cycle race), and RedFest (music concert).
