Blipmeet…………………

…………….........with Viki


Today it was lovely to meet  Viki who only recently moved from the North Island of NZ to live in the Nelson area. Riwaka7, Lizellen and myself live in nearby Motueka and a blipmeet was arranged - hopefully the first of many. 

This golden and very dry seed head was growing on the bank beside the estuary outlet pipe and with the dark water providing an ideal backdrop it caught my eye. 

It looked lovely in colour, but I like the simplicity and starkness of it in mono. 

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s monarch with the damaged and crumpled wings. Sadly, there was no improvement this morning.
