More Almond Blossom

Slept well, and woke up to such a beautiful, sunny day that, as soon as we'd hung out a wash, went across the Lake, and walked most of the day, down and around the hill that Monsaraz is on, ending with a picnic down by the sparkling water, which we wolfed down, it being about 5pm by then.

Might have been inspired by HarlingDarling's blip, which I read this morning...

Very grateful for a happy day - though flat is freezing now, and lights keep blowing when we turn heater on.
