Ridiculously so. This morning's walk on the hills above Almuñecar, in temperatures reminiscent of June rather than February. Extra: the picture-postcard view towards La Herradura.

The walk was well within my capabilities this time, and finished with the inevitable beer and tapas on the seafront in the sunshine. When we were at the fish market yesterday, S had the presence of mind to ask the fisheries lady for some restaurant recommendations. So after leaving Almuñecar we headed for Salobreña to check out El Trasmallo. It's an unprepossessing place just off the seafront, but it was excellent value. Menu del día at the usual 10 euros, and my main course of mixed fried fish was impeccably fresh and more than I could eat -- I had to leave some.

By the time we'd finished, the sky had clouded over and it was getting decidedly cooler, ready for the forecast rain tomorrow, so we were glad we'd taken advantage of the glorious weather while it lasted.
