The morning lizard

Another glorious day and we walked across to the other resort where there are hills to test the legs and a bit of shade to be had. We watched the Pelicans fishing from the jetty at the Rasta beach and sat in the shade with a soft drink, before heading up the hill and looking out across the bay.

This afternoon we have lazed around the pool but facing out to sea to read or watch the world go by. My favourite Antiguan has been keeping a careful watch out for my camera but I managed to catch him unawares a couple of times. A good bit of sport.

We are hoping to be able to keep our room until 3 p.m. tomorrow, although we have to check with reception a little later on as a few US flights have been cancelled due to snow, so some lucky Americans will have to stay on until flights resume.

Our last night and then reality strikes when we land around 6 a.m on Saturday morning.

This lizard is always in the same tree when we pass him on our way down to breakfast and is very obliging.
