2016 Blipfoto Book

This is a blip tribute to the blood sweat and tears wrought from His Lordship over the production of my 2016 Blipfoto book which we collected from the printers this morning.
It was indeed a labour of love and he is still labouring and loving as he wades through the 2015 one. That will be the last one unless Blipcentral are persuaded to come up with software to produce the books as easily as before.

With the requirement to walk to Morningside to collect an order at M&S, I managed to get caught in the only shower of the day at that point. It started gently enough with a light cascade of what felt and looked like polystyrene balls, but developed into heavier wet snow with a leaden sky. It seemed best to call it a day on the exercise front and hop on a bus. This was such a slow journey that by the time we got to Bruntsfield the sun was out and I could walk home over the links and Meadows, where the sledges were already out on miniscule patches of lying snow.

Regarding the ongoing boiler saga, the plumber eventually arrived at 6pm yesterday in the middle of our meal, setting HL on a collision path, but in fact the poor man sorted out the problem of the didgeridoo noise. The extractor fan had slipped down and was resting on the ceiling of the cupboard. A piece of wood was used to lift it up and hey presto, not a whisper. Result!
