Stacking elephants

Back in early 2012 I started to dabble with focus stacking and one of my first attempts was a carved Indian elephant
Today, I started to dabble again, this time with three small ivory elephants. In the photograph, a stack of 20 images, I have tried to give the impression of a family group walking in the moonlight.
These Indian elephants were carved in Kerala, back in the days of the British Raj. Now, of course selling post-1947 ivory is illegal and there is growing pressure to ban the trade entirely, whatever it's age. Failing that, the future for elephants, especially the African elephant, is bleak indeed.
