Wound up in Wexford

New home .........

......... for a bookcase of mine, which at the time that dad moved to Norfolk was still looking for a home in our combined household.  So I lent it to dad.

Now we have somewhere for it, so "the man with a van" brought it to our house - along with the wardrobe.  Some of you may be waiting with baited breath to hear what happened to the wardrobe, and can be reassured that the wardrobe was taken apart quite readily, was carried upstairs, and is now reassembled in the dressing room (posh name for the 3rd bedroom that is now lined with wardrobes and chests that don't fit in our bedroom, because we both have far too many clothes!).

The bookcase has been quickly filled with a medley of books - many of which probably should join most of dad's books on the shelves of a local charity shop.  But in the meantime if they are displayed on shelves it is easier to see them and decide.  And that's 2 fewer boxes in the house!

In other news, I think that all the information on dad's wallpaper chart is now on my online family tree.  I discussed with W the fate of the original - we have decided that we should fold it back up and store it - it is the result of a lot of hard work by dad, and should not be readily discarded.

As I have uploaded my family tree onto the website, I have discovered overlap with several other people who are approaching from other directions.  One could easily spend hours looking at other peoples' related family trees.
