Come on Pepe light my fire

I think that most of the people I know have over the years developed their own particular way of lighting a fire (except Mrs Raheny, who is still learning).

But none quite as meticulous as Pepe's. 

The fire lighters are placed at intervals that wouldn't be more precise with laser technology. 
An intricate scaffold of carefully calibrated twigs and small pieces of wood are place within a sarcophagus of peat briquettes, with ventilation holes designed to produce precisely the right amount of draft.
The timer is then set, to the nearest millisecond, for the placing of the bigger logs on top of the pyre. 

With such genetic heritage, I really don't understand why Mrs Raheny still hopes to see a fire spring forth from four briquettes laid horizontally on top of a smallish fire lighter and three twigs...
