An ordinary life....

Final Photo...

Backblip

Of the pool before completion.  The red crate is not a permanent fixture!  :-))

Temperature of the room and the water is rising nicely.  There's no longer a swish of cold air when the door from the garden room into the pool room is opened.  This time next week (all being well!) it will be a blast of warm, humid air that will escape when the door is opened.

Won't blip any more photos of the pool now until it is all complete and the builders have moved out (and hopefully we'll have moved some furniture in.)

The pool specialist was back out today to cut the pool cover to fit round the hand rails.  That's made a big difference to how it looks and will help the water temp rise.

There is one slight issue concerning me.  The halo lighting that runs round the recess in the roof has one section not working.  The electrician is waiting for the part to come from Germany.  I think it's due anytime.  He was hoping it would be here before the pool was full of water but it was not to be.  I can't fathom how he will fit the part now that the pool is full.   I know I keep going on about how fantastic our builders are but no matter how excellent, I'm pretty sure none of them can walk on water.

Hmmmm....
