An ordinary life....

New Life...

Feeling absolutely fine today.    Putting my symptoms and ensuing hospital drama down to a 24 hour bug.

Woke up to rain but was delighted to see it as it has washed all the snow away.  More snow forecast but thankfully it's not reached us as yet.

Quite a busy day.   As we are two members of Alan's support team down at the moment, we had an agency worker coming in this afternoon.  We've never had to use agency cover before so weren't quite sure what to expect.

We needn't have worried.  N was absolutely lovely and Alan took to her straight away.  We are hoping she can cover between 4-6 shifts while we start the recruitment process again.

Mid afternoon, the sun actually came out and I took the chance to have a wander in the side garden and get some fresh air.   Nothing much to blip as it's still all wintery and derelict looking at the moment but saw these little buds starting to sprout on the hydrangea bought for me last year by my blip pal Marie.  (Yes I have managed to keep it alive! It's a miracle) so that's what you get.

In other news, the tender documents for the garden room and Alan's swimming pool are now with all the builders who have indicated they want to tender for the job, so hopefully it won't be long till we have awarded the contract and agreed a starting date.

PS Will do my absolute best to have a blip catch up after tea :-))

PPS If you want to catch up with the kerfuffle, see here and here.
