Flower Friday - Rhododendron

After yesterday's storm it was good to walk in Westonbirt Arboretum under blue skies and sunshine. 

A fair deal of fallen brash lay all around but the trees appeared to have withstood the gales. 

It's Rhododendron time, and the plants are all in flower. This one was particularly nice and gave me my blip for Flower Friday (FF24)

But all things have to come to a paintbrush, so that's me looking at purple again for the rest of the afternoon...
