Tiny Tuesday - Bear

I've been rather hectic getting 6 prints ready to hand in this evening for a competition at our camera club and was stuck for inspiration for today's blip. As often happens, my lovely Editor came to the rescue with this little bear, which is only about 4cm long from nose to tail.

She bought him 4 years ago when we had a wonderful holiday driving in leisurely fashion along the Blue Ridge Parkway (from Virginia into North Carolina). We started with a couple of nights at Natural Bridge and she bought this at a gift shop there. He's rather cute. She likes to keep little things like this in her coat pocket so that she can play with them in her fingers while she walks along (I don't know what that says about her sanity, but she must have been mad to marry me all those years ago anyway!).

We've had an encouraging telephone report from the care home where we took Mum-in-Law last week. Apparently she played Scrabble with one of the other residents yesterday, and this afternoon was playing cards with some others. Seemingly she still gets confused and packs her things up "for going home" but the staff unpack them again while she's out of the room, and when she gets back she's forgotten that she'd packed them! The staff are absolutely wonderful, they deserve a medal.

Thanks again to wrperry for hosting TT.
