Feeding the birds

It was a glorious day today, sun and blue skies. I drove Mum to Laveno at the Lago Maggiore, where we had a cappuccino on a terrace, walked a bit along the lake shore and had a traditional Italian lunch at a new restaurant. While walking along the lake shore we saw these construction workers feeding the gulls, ducks, pigeons and even three geese during their lunch break ! I think they may be foreign workers, I saw several taking pictures of the lake landscape, which was looking wonderful with the snow-capped Alps in the distance


I know I'm really bad at commenting at the moment and while I'm here in Italy I really won't have time to comment much, I'm so sorry.
