Blipmeet Ullswater

There was only one blip for today. There were shots which would have qualified on a different day but today was a blipmeet at Aira Force on Ullswater. The meet coincided with Hildarose's 1460th (4 year blip)

Thank you to Clickychick for the list below, 10 blippers, 3 spouses and 4 dogs spent the morning eating cake, drinking coffee, chocolate, walking, talking, taking photographs and more eating. It was very, very good and nice to meet people who I've followed for some time and new people too. Also a pleasure to meet Chloe who we've seen so many times in blips from Trevorearthy & biblinros.

Hildarose celebrated in style although some of us missed the actual display of numbers by taking the high road while the others too the low road.

People had disappeared at various times during the day. Missing from this "sort of" group shot at clickychick and Jerra who had a journey north in front of them, Kanyl went for a brew and marpaul and Misty went off for a walk along the fellside. We chose the worst weather of the day to have this shot taken down by Ullswater which is why an assortment of headgear makes it a challenge to recognise anyone!

We caught up with marpaul and Misty later in the day as we were on our way up Gowbarrow after everyone had left for home.

The day ended with a very pleasant evening with our friends Alan and Irene and John at Romney's in Kendal. It was good to catch up with them all and much talking was done over good food and drink.
