New Appreciation

Late in the day I dropped my car at my mechanics. I biked home along the river and felt a little sad. There will be no river at my new home and no, or few big trees. It will be different.

I slowed down and enjoyed it. I'll miss it. My new environment will be drier, more open, and it will become familiar and known. There will be big largely unobstructed skies and semi-rural blip opportunities close at hand.

When I wasn't working or dealing with the car, I was dealing with selling and buying houses. Importantly I now have both settlement dates aligned, and details with my bank confirmed.
