Young Models

It has been a thoroughly enjoyable day today at the Amersham Studios for a day's course on Children's Portraits through the Royal Photographic Society.  These courses really are great value and I am fortunate in living within a short drive - most participants travel miles!  The day was lead by a professional portrait photographer, Saraya Cortaville, who was really practical and interesting; she shoots entirely on location and never uses a studio.  We had a couple of hours out in Amersham Old Town with two child models, managing to dodge the rain, and light wasn't too bad considering the overcast day; brilliant practical experience.

If you're going to the Photography Show next week, Saraya will be working live on stage with the same two models we used today.
