Dad's day

Girls were up bright and early, and dad was woken by 3 excited girls bearing gifts, I must say I think he did well with the presents, Lara made him a clay mound with various pine cones and sticks and things in art, Bailee made him a coffee mug, and Maddie bought him some socks and undies and a new book. I made bacon and eggs for everyone, and as soon as that was eaten girls were outside on their bikes as the weather was super, Miss Maddie finally had the courage to take off training wheels and she was absolutely rapt when she peddled off, the smile on her face was massive, she only needed to do it in her own time and to have the courage to trust herself and let go we were all so proud of her, they spent all morning riding bikes, until poor miss Bailee who is now on the really big bike and can't touch the ground to stop hit a rock and hit the ground hard on her face. An icey pole and a face washer fixed her up pretty quick.

We headed in to the city for a special fathers day lunch, yummy pizza and gelati followed by a run around in the park. On the way home two tired little girls fell asleep, when we got home the girls skipped off to play outside. They made flower soup and flower badges for the fairies who live in our garden and placed them in a large circle around a special tree, I heard them talking about the fairies coming to visit them and brining a surprise for them to say thank you for the flower soup. To be young again an believe in everything.
