Proud as punch!

The red-bellied woodpecker insisted on showing off the peanut he picked out of the hole in the fence post. The extra for today shows a little doe trying to pick out a peanut from the same post. Unfortunately for the doe, she doesn't have the pointy beak to help her.

Our burst of spring weather has moved on. We are back into winter again, but I hope not for long!
