'Tis The Season

It was early evening and I was headed home. Not being in much of a hurry,  I decided to bypass the freeway, which is the quickest way to travel from one side of town to the other.  Instead, I took the leisurely drive home (I really mean leisurely, too, 'cause the guy in front of me was going 20 mph) down one of our prettier streets.  When I got to the East Center, I saw the wildflowers.  It was awfully windy. This was the best I could do.

Iditarod update: about 2 days into the race, Mitch Seavey, winner in 2004 and 2013 is in the lead.  His son, Dallas, has won 4 of the last five races.
