Pretty in Pink

Following up from my visit to the Botanic Gardens on 22nd August I thought I'd head back and take that shot of the magnolias that I'd passed on for those beautiful little blue flowers that made the day's blip.
Luckily, the wonderful pink blossoms were still there - in fact even more had come out in the sunshine of last week or so.
Rather than taking in the full glory of the tree in bloom, I reached up and pulled a bough down to focus on the stunning interior of the flower. The raindrops from earlier on the day giving the bloom just that little bit more delicacy.
