Hervideros

Our friends have put us on their car hire insurance, and as they needed to stay at the villa to rest Julias knee (pin hole surgery that hasn't worked out) they gave us the keys to have a few hours to ourselves.

Oddly we were in Lanzarote the same time (almost to the days) last year but didn't visit El Golfo, so headed to this quaint coastal village a few miles from the villa.

On the way back we stopped off at Hervideros Caves to watch the waves splashing up against the cliffs in this cove. Quite spectacular set against the volcanic background of Timfanaya National Park..

Luckily, Hervideros starts with 'H' which fits in nicely with the wide angle wednesday theme!

On the way back we stopped off at the local supermarket to buy food and drink. Mrs BB & I are cooking tonight!
