Hometime...

Backblip

Had to be out the lodge by 10am.  The four of us would have happily stayed for month! 

The journey home was a bit wet but the scenery was still lovely.  So lovely to see Alan.  I can't believe how much I missed him!  He was pleased to see us but not so pleased at all the kisses I insisted on giving him!  :-))

Davd and Adrian were playing golf at 1.30 so they got ready and headed off to have lunch at the golf club before their round.  Agnes and I headed to Broadslap Farm coffee shop for lunch.

Another warm welcome and great food.

Sat and chatted for ages and Agnes declared her hot chocolate with a shot of caramel and the huge slab of carrot cake, as the best she'd ever had.  Praise indeed as her standards are very high.  

Back home to chill with our feet up and read magazines.  By this point the rain was thundering down and we couldn't believe the pair of them were still on the golf course.  They weren't.  A few minutes later they came in like a pair of drowned rats.  Hot showers, coffee and hot cross buns and they were soon smiling again.

Agnes and Adrian were staying at ours so we opted for a takeaway for tea (dreading getting on the scales!!!) and a night of the guys watching golf in the garden room and Agnes and I watching the usual Saturday night nonsense in the living room.
