One of our woodpeckers this afternoon

I had to take this through the window, so not quite as sharp as I'd like.  This is our adapted feeder, which was chewed rather badly by squirrels last year which enabled the birds to remove one peanut at a time.  This was my solution, which seems to work!  It also has the advantages of providing a soak away at the bottom of the tube, with all the rain we've had the peanuts in one of the other feeders was rotting at the bottom.

Cannon Hall for lunch followed by a quick shop.
Merv came with eggs, so I must remember to take them with me to Tai Chi and camera club tomorrow.

I've been playing with my new website again and think I'm beginning to get more of an idea how it all works.
