After far too much faffing I have ended up with a mediocre tulip.  The original I took this morning when the light was good with plenty of contrast However, after a couple of Photoshop videos I had a try at a few effects including changing the background using the 'screen' blending mode.  The result though was boring so I then had to import another tulip pic and enlarge that before blending again. Too much time for not enough gain.

The tulips were given to us by the neighbours after Corrie died - very sweet of them.
