I layed on the patio slabs to look up at this one, but not for long as the weather has turned chilly again.

It was a beautiful day but I spent most of it indoors cleaning kit and web browsing for some new bits. Quite big bits in fact as I need my own lightweight tent, bivi bag and stove for more wild camping. Sharing is much more fun, but for assessment I'll be on my own.

Unbelievably, a one person tent can weigh less than 1kg! Even so, with stove and bivi bag, it's another few kg I didn't have before, so I've been weighing everything and ruthlesssly eliminating less essential things in an effort to reduce the load.
