Abstract first

My first ever contribution to Abstract Thursday, hosted by Ingeborg just now.
I know its not really very abstract, but thought it might fit the bill?! As you can probably guess, its a close up of my edge tinted carnations, that are well over a week old and still looking perfect!

Today is the first dry day we've had this week, and yesterday just poured all day...and so cold.
We were havng our patios, paths and decking jetwashed, more water than in our little lake!!!
I think the lawn will need a week of dry weather to recover!!

This morning we were out early as I had an appointment (usual ladies 3 yearly screening.. ouch, they are not made to be flat dont you know :-0!!!) Afterwards we went for a coffee then a look around the town centre. Bought some lovely gammons for dinner and some roast ham for sandwiches too :-)

This afternoon we tried to make a start to tidy things up post jetwashing. All the pots and tubs need washing down, but everywhere is so wet we will just have to be a little patient!!

Off quizzing tonight.....please dont hold your breathe!!!
