Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Territory

The Lapwings and Curlews are back on territory and on a sunny day there's little better than listening to their calls around the edge of the moor. Lots of Skylarks and Meadow Pipits too.

There were also a few butterflies around and about, mostly Small Tortoiseshell  but also my first Peacock of the year over at the edge of the moor at Sconce.

And I couldn't resist the woolly Belted Galloways (extras) who were adorning a couple of pastures off Sconce lane.
