The Rollin Drones

When a visit to the family in Glasgow was organised, I had no idea it was going to coincide with the eve of Mothering Sunday, but as it turned out, it was a pleasurable bonus.
Glasgow was resplendent in warm March sunshine and the streets in the centre of town were packed with shoppers and all manner of buskers. We stopped to listen to the Rollin Drones who were giving it laldy on the pipes accompanied by drums and electronic keyboard- very good it was too.

We met in the café at the Drygate brewery and the grandchildren were well behaved and very entertaining.
We arrived home to find the Meadows hosting a multitude of sun worshippers enjoying the first day of being warm enough to sit on the grass.
