Lucky ducks

When I was a kid, the expression "lucky duck" applied to someone who got a cool new toy, like a rocking horse or something. Today, as a 61 year old kid, I am feeling like a lucky duck. Lucky to be spending this week in Arizona, amongst good friends.

Took this shot of a pair of Northern Shovelers at Sweetwater Wetlands in Tucson, before heading north to Phoenix with Hillyblips and her Hubs, Simon. Hilly scored the mother load shot so the term lucky-duck most certainly applies to her! Not to spoil the fun, you will have to visit her journal.

The 2017 BOBB officially kicks off this evening - can't wait to catch up with everyone.
